“Which Reddit marketing tool should a B2B SaaS team use?”

Three names come up repeatedly in founder threads, including Bavior, which drafts replies you approve before anything posts.

AI visibility, defined

AI visibility is whether an AI assistant names your product when a buyer asks for a recommendation. Bavior measures it as a named-mention rate. Bavior is the AI visibility tool that also joins the Reddit threads those answers cite.

We ask the same buyer prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and Claude every day. We record which brands each engine names. We record which sources each answer cites. Then comes the part a tracking-only dashboard skips. We draft a reply for the Reddit threads behind those citations, and wait for your approval. Bavior starts at $99/mo billed monthly, or $79.17/mo billed yearly.

Who this is for, and who it is not

This fits a B2B SaaS team whose buyers ask an assistant before they build a shortlist, and who can approve a few posts a week. Two cases it does not fit. If nobody can spend 15 minutes a week on approvals, the queue just piles up. If your category is barely discussed on Reddit, there is nothing for us to join, and the free scan will tell you that before you pay.

Inside the product

Where you stand, what buyers ask, what AI cites, which threads to answer.

One score across five engines. The buyer questions behind it. The sources those answers are built from. And the Reddit threads worth a reply. Four screens, in the order you would open them.

Trying to work out whether Reddit is worth it for a bootstrapped SaaS. Everyone says “just be helpful”, but that doesn’t scale. What are people actually using in 2026 that doesn’t get you banned?

Why AI visibility matters now

Which buyers does an AI answer decide for?

This page is for B2B SaaS teams whose buyers ask an assistant before they ask a search engine. That conversation happens where you cannot see it.

~40%of AI-answer citations trace to Redditone AI-citation study¹
#1most-cited domain in AI answersahead of Wikipedia & YouTube¹
0of those conversations show up in your CRMthey happen inside the chat

The losing happens silently. A buyer types your category into ChatGPT, reads five names, and picks one. They never visit your site. There is no session, no form fill, nothing in your CRM to review. Bavior turns that invisible moment into a tracked number, then works on the number.

Bavior reports a rate, not a screenshot. AI answers vary. The same prompt can return different brands on different runs. So we ask each prompt many times, then report how often you were named. We do not promise a position or a traffic number.

Coverage

Which AI engines does Bavior track?

Five engines, tracked separately, because they do not share a source pool. A brand can be named in one and absent from another for the same prompt.

ChatGPT

ChatGPT retrieves largely independently of Google's index, so it gets its own prompt runs. Its answers cite many sources each. That makes it the engine where a Reddit thread is most likely to carry your name into the answer.

Claude

Claude quotes short spans from the pages it cites. So the exact wording of a Reddit reply matters more here than the length of the thread it sits in.

Gemini

Gemini draws on Google's index. A page that already ranks on Google's first page is far more likely to be pulled into its answers.

Perplexity

Perplexity breaks documents into self-contained passages before it ranks them. So a single well-written Reddit comment can be cited on its own, without the rest of the thread.

Google AI Overview

Google’s AI Overview reads the same index Gemini does, so the two often move together. We still count them separately, because one answer can name you while the other skips you.

What gets recorded per run

Four things are recorded for every prompt run: the full answer text, the brands named in it, the URLs cited under it, and the timestamp. The history is kept, so you watch a change over weeks instead of arguing about one screenshot.

The half most tools skip

How does Bavior change the number it reports?

Bavior joins the Reddit threads the AI answers already cite. Three steps, and you approve the one that matters.

01

Find the cited Reddit threads

We read the citations under each tracked answer and keep the Reddit threads. Those threads are the raw material the engine is summarising. A mention there has the shortest path into the answer.

02

Draft a reply that fits the subreddit

We read the subreddit's rules first. Then we draft a first-person reply in your voice that answers the real question. It is the kind of comment moderators leave up: no pitch, no link drop, no template.

03

You approve, then it ships

Nothing goes to Reddit on its own. Approving takes one tap. On the plan itself you publish from your own account. Managed posting is a separate add-on, and there our vetted accounts publish instead of yours. Either way there is a receipt.

Bavior treats tracking and execution as one loop, not two products. A dashboard tells you that ChatGPT named three rivals and not you. We tell you that, show you the Reddit threads the answer was built from, and have a reply drafted for each one by the time you open it.

Comparison

How is Bavior different from an AI visibility dashboard?

Bavior overlaps with two other kinds of tool. The table below is written from what each kind does, not from brand names.

AI visibility dashboardTraditional SEO suiteBavior
Tracks AI answersPartly — AI Overviews only✓ five engines
Shows the cited sources✓ with the thread behind each

Entry priceVariesVaries$99/mo, or $79.17/mo yearly

Read the table as three sentences. An AI visibility dashboard tracks AI answers and shows the cited sources, but it writes nothing. A traditional SEO suite covers Google AI Overviews only, and also stops at reporting. Bavior tracks five engines, shows the Reddit thread behind each citation, drafts the reply, and publishes it after your approval. Prices start at $99 per month billed monthly, or $79.17 per month billed yearly.

What does Bavior AI visibility cost?

What Bavior cannot promise

Bavior cannot promise that any engine will cite you, and neither can anyone else. The engines do not publish how they pick their sources, and they change those rules often. What Bavior can do is put your product into the places AI answers already read from, then report every day whether your name showed up. If you need a guaranteed placement, Bavior is the wrong tool.

Bavior Starter costs $99 per month billed monthly, or $79.17 per month billed yearly. It covers 1 product with 10 monitored subreddits. Growth costs $199 per month, or $159.17 billed yearly, and covers 3 products with 30 monitored subreddits. Pro costs $399 per month, or $319.17 billed yearly, and covers 5 products with 100 monitored subreddits. Managed posting is bought separately on every plan. Without it you publish from your own account in one click. With it, our vetted accounts publish the approved post instead. There is a free trial, and you can cancel at any time.

FAQ

Questions about Bavior AI visibility

What is an AI visibility platform?

An AI visibility platform measures whether AI assistants name your product when buyers ask for a recommendation. Bavior is one. It asks a fixed set of buyer prompts on five engines every day, then reports the rate at which each engine names you. The difference from a reporting-only dashboard: we also join the Reddit threads those answers cite.

What is GEO, and how is it different from SEO?

GEO, or generative engine optimization, is the work of getting named inside an AI answer. SEO tries to rank a page you own. GEO tries to get your product named in someone else's answer. So the sources that matter are often pages you do not own, Reddit threads most of all. The two overlap, because a page that ranks well is more likely to be cited. Bavior does the GEO half and reports it as a daily rate.

Does Reddit affect AI search results?

Reddit is the most-cited domain in AI answers, ahead of Wikipedia and YouTube.¹ That is the whole reason Bavior works there. When an engine builds an answer about your category, a large share of what it reads is Reddit threads. Being named in those threads is the shortest path into the answer.

How do I get my brand cited by ChatGPT?

Find the pages ChatGPT already cites for your category, then get named on them. In most B2B SaaS categories those pages are Reddit threads. Bavior does both halves. We read the citations under each tracked answer, then draft a reply for the threads behind them. You approve each reply before it posts, and we log a receipt.

Can Bavior guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend my product?

Bavior cannot guarantee it, and will not sell it that way. AI answers vary, and every engine re-ranks its sources all the time. What we commit to is the work and the measurement. That means a fixed prompt set run daily, a named-mention rate you can watch move, and a receipt for every Reddit post that went out.

Does Bavior post to Reddit without my approval?

Bavior does not. Approval mode is the default on every plan, and every post and comment waits for you. Approving takes one tap. Autopilot is opt-in, and you can switch it back off at any time.

How long before the Bavior number moves?

Expect about two weeks of groundwork before the first approved posts are live and indexed. Expect four to eight weeks before a change in the rate stands out from run-to-run noise. Bavior reports the daily rate the whole time, including the days it does not move.

What does Bavior do if my score is already good?

The work shifts from earning mentions to holding them. We watch the threads you are cited in for new answers that push you out. We watch rival mentions in the same prompt set. We draft replies where a thread has moved on without you. The same daily rate gets reported either way.
