Account health check · inside Bavior
Read-only: nothing gets posted or changed. Bavior runs this same read before it posts for you, scoring karma, account age, activity mix, and self-promo ratio. Every signal comes from public activity. It is included with any Bavior account.
What it checks

A Reddit account analyzer turns one public username into a health read. It looks at karma, account age, and the mix of posts and comments. It also flags habits that draw scrutiny, like heavy self-promo. All of this is already public, so it is not a private Reddit report.

Sample output

One username, one health read.

Health lands on Healthy, Caution, or At-risk — green, orange, red. The cards below are one sample account.

Overall health⚠️ Caution
Karma and age look fine. One flag pulls the score down.
Karma & age3.1 yrs old
8,400 post karma · 2,100 comment karma · active most weeks.
Risk flags⚠️ 1 flag
Heavy self-promo. 38% of recent posts link to one site.
How it works

Three steps, one input.

1

One username

One Reddit handle is the whole input. Nothing to install.

2

We read the signals

Karma, account age, posting mix, and self-promo ratio. All of it public.

3

You get a health read

Healthy, Caution, or At-risk. Plus the flags behind the score.

What we check

Five signals per account.

Karma

Post and comment karma. It shows whether the account carries enough trust to post.

Account age

New accounts draw more scrutiny. We flag any that sit under a sub's usual bar.

Activity mix

Comments versus posts, and how recent. A healthy account looks like a person, not a drop-and-run.

Self-promo ratio

How much of the history is promo. Too much, and mods take notice.

Shadowban signals

Whether the account's posts and comments show up in public.

How to read it

How do I know if my Reddit account is healthy?

No single karma number means healthy. The mix is what matters. A normal account is a few months old, and its karma comes from comments as well as posts. It links to one site only now and then, so mods and AutoMod read it as a person. A risky account is brand new, or all its karma came from a single post, or it keeps linking to the same site. A high karma total does not cancel any of that.

01

Healthy pattern

Months or years old. Karma from both comments and posts. Promo turns up in under one post in ten.

02

Caution pattern

A newer account. Karma sits in one or two posts. Promo is creeping past one in five.

03

At-risk pattern

A few weeks old. Almost every post links to one site. Little or no comment history.

Landed on Caution or At-risk? The fix is time and real comments. A bigger post will not do it.

What this read can't tell you

It reads the account, not the post. A clean account can still lose a post to one sub's rules, because rules and account health are two separate checks. Bavior runs both, and you should read a sub's rules yourself before you publish.

After the score

Keeping an account healthy is ongoing work.

A score tells you where an account stands today. Bavior is built to hold it there: it reads each community's rules before it drafts, keeps to quotas and cooldowns, and watches for shadowban signals. It posts through its own vetted, aged accounts, so your personal one carries less risk. From $99/mo billed monthly, or $79.17/mo billed yearly.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How do I analyze a Reddit account?

Open the analyzer in Bavior and give it one username. It reads karma, account age, activity mix, and self-promo ratio from public activity, then returns a health read.

What makes a Reddit account look risky?

New accounts, low karma, heavy self-promo, and shadowban signals are the big flags. Any one alone may be fine. Several together raise the risk.

Is the analyzer free?

It is included with any Bavior account, free trial included. Keeping an account healthy while you post at scale is what Bavior does.

Can a risky account be fixed?

Slow the promo down. Build karma with real replies first, and let the account age. Or let Bavior post through its own vetted accounts instead.
