What it does

A website subreddit finder reads the real pages on your site. What you sell, who you write for, how you talk about it. It then matches that against the Reddit communities already discussing the same thing. It is the same idea as describing your product by hand, with one change. The description comes straight from your site, so the match follows what you publish rather than a one-line pitch.

Read-only: nothing gets posted. This is the community-mapping step behind Bavior's Reddit lead generation, fed from your URL instead of a typed description. It is included with any Bavior account, and reading a site takes a couple of minutes.
Sample output

Reverse-matched from your site, not a guess.

Each match names the page it came from, so you can see why it fits before you post.

How to read a site-based match

Why would my website point to different subreddits than my own pitch?

A site holds more pages than you can describe in one breath. That is why the two lists differ, and why the site list is usually the better one.

A typed pitch is one sentence, written for investors or for a launch post. Your site is dozens of pages, written over months, for people who are already curious. The reverse-match reads all of it, so it picks up the words your buyers see rather than the words you rehearse. Four things shape how good that read turns out.

Your pricing page talks differently than your homepage

A pricing page uses buyer language: cost, plans, payback. That points to more commercial subreddits than a homepage full of brand story does.

Thin pages give thin matches

A site with two paragraphs and a signup button gives the match very little to read. A blog, a docs section, and case studies sharpen every result.

Generic copy hides your real niche

"The all-in-one platform for teams" matches almost nothing well. Say who you are for, and what breaks without you. The list narrows fast.

A match still needs a human check

Reverse-matching finds the right topic. It does not know your brand voice or your pricing nerves. Whether a community will like how you show up stays your call.

How it works

Three steps, from a domain to a ranked list.

1

Your URL

Just the domain. No keyword list, no setup.

2

We read your site

Topics, audience, and offer, pulled from your pages. Not a category guess.

3

You get a ranked list

Subreddits matched to your site, with the rules already read.

Once you've got a ranked list

Bavior takes the next step for you.

Mapping your site to the right subreddits answers where. Inside each one, Bavior reads the current rules and finds the threads where people are asking to buy. It drafts a reply in that sub's own style. Nothing goes out until you approve it.

What this finder can't do

Matching finds the rooms. It never looks at your own account. Plenty of subreddits block new or low-karma accounts on sight, and a perfect match will not open that gate. Check your account against the sub's minimum before you plan a launch post.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

How do I find subreddits for my website?

Paste your URL in Bavior. The finder reads your site's topics and audience, then matches subreddits by fit and flags each one's promo rule.

Why does my website match different subreddits than describing my product does?

A website has far more real pages to read than a one-line description: a blog, a pricing page, docs. The reverse-match often surfaces communities a short pitch would miss. Try both and compare the lists.

Is it free?

It is included with any Bavior account, free trial included. Finding threads and posting inside those subreddits is what Bavior does next.

Do I need to give it keywords?

No. Paste your URL and it works out your site's topics, audience, and the matching subreddits.

What happens after I find the subreddits?

Bavior takes over. It finds the buying-intent threads inside them, drafts native replies, and posts on your approval.
