Managed service

Generative engine optimization services, run for you.

Bavior runs generative engine optimization as a monthly service for B2B SaaS teams. Every day we ask the same buyer questions on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overview and Claude. Then we join the Reddit threads those answers cite. You approve every post. You do none of the work.

Bavior GEO services, defined

Generative engine optimization, or GEO, is the work of getting an AI assistant to name your product. It pays off when a buyer asks that assistant what to buy. Bavior sells GEO as a managed monthly service for B2B SaaS teams, not as software alone.

We build and run the prompt set. We read which sources each answer cites. We write the Reddit replies that put you into those sources. Once you approve, our vetted accounts publish them, under managed posting that is priced on top of a plan. Each month you get a written report of what changed. The service is for teams who have decided AI visibility matters, and who have nobody free to work on it every week.

Inside the product

The service, as five screens you can log into.

Where you stand across five AI engines. The buyer questions we track. The pages those answers cite. The threads we go answer. And the reply sitting in your queue. Five screens from the product itself, in the order we work them.

What’s the best tool for getting customers from Reddit?
Trying to work out whether Reddit is worth it for a bootstrapped SaaS. Everyone says “just be helpful”, but that doesn’t scale. What are people actually using in 2026 that doesn’t get you banned?

How are you getting leads from Reddit without getting banned?
Two of my comments got removed last month and I still can’t tell what tripped it — the link, the account age, or the sub. Curious what’s actually working for people right now.

Is anyone actually measuring whether AI assistants recommend their product?

We rank fine on Google for our category and it has stopped mattering. Half the demos we book now open with "an assistant told me about you" — or, more often, told them about somebody else. I have no idea how to even measure this, let alone move it. Is anyone tracking it properly, or is the whole space guessing?

Comment draftAI regenerateEdit

You can measure it, it is just tedious. We wrote down every question our buyers actually type into an assistant, froze the list, and ran the same list every day. Then we logged which URLs each answer cited. The first month is boring on purpose — you are building a baseline so you can tell a real change from run-to-run noise.

What moved ours was not our own pages. It was the threads the answers were already citing, and most of those were on here. We went and answered the question in those threads instead of pitching in them. Nothing visible happened for about six weeks, then the same questions started coming back with us in the answer.

Disclosure: I work on Bavior, which does this as a service. Saying so because rule 5 asks you to, not because you need us — the manual version costs a spreadsheet and an hour a week, and that is how we started.

Why? A direct "how do I measure this" question, in the subreddit the plan works twice a week. The reply answers the measurement question first and names the affiliation once, at the end, because r/SEO rule 5 requires disclosure. No link in the body.

One score, its trend, and where you sit against the alternatives. This is the number the monthly report has to move. The 48-question set we build and run daily. And which of the five engines name you when they answer it. The pages those answers are built from, ranked, each one tagged with what to do about it. The live Reddit threads behind those citations. These are the ones we go and answer for you. The work you are buying: we write the reply, we say why, and nothing goes out until you press Approve.

Who this is for

Should you buy Bavior as a service or as software?

Bavior sells the same loop two ways. The difference is who does the weekly work, not what the product can do.

Who this is not for

If nobody on your team can spend 15 minutes a week approving posts, this doesn't work. If your category is barely discussed on Reddit, the free scan will tell you that, and we'd rather you not buy.

Deliverables

What does Bavior actually deliver each month?

Here are the deliverables, not the philosophy. A GEO retainer is easy to sell and hard to audit.

01

A daily five-engine prompt run

Every day we ask your prompt set on all five engines. Each prompt is repeated, because one run of an AI answer proves nothing. The set stays fixed, so the days stay comparable.

02

A citation map of your category

We log every URL cited under every tracked answer. The URLs are grouped by domain and by thread. That map tells us where to work next. You get it in full.

03

Drafted Reddit replies, ready to approve

We read the subreddit's rules first. Then we write a first-person reply that answers the question in the thread. Drafts land in your queue. A normal month runs 12 to 25 of them, depending on how much your category is discussed.

04

Publishing from vetted accounts

Managed posting is priced separately from the plan, and it is what this service includes. Approved posts then go out from our own vetted, established accounts instead of yours. We keep to each subreddit's quotas and cooldowns, not to a schedule that suits us.

05

A receipt for every action

The log records what went out, where, when, and from which account. It records whether a mod removed it. We show removals instead of hiding them. A removal rate is the honest measure of whether the writing fits the room.

06

A written monthly report

Each month you get a written report. It covers the named-mention rate per engine and the change since last month. It lists what went out and what was removed. It ends with what we plan to do next. It is prose, not a dashboard screenshot.

Timeline

How long does Bavior GEO take to show a result?

Here is the timeline up front. GEO is routinely sold with one nobody can meet.

W1

Week 1 · Baseline

We build the prompt set and run the first five-engine baseline. We map which sources your category's answers are built from today. You get the baseline number before any work starts.

W2

Week 2 · First posts live

The first drafts hit your queue, and the ones you approve go live. The first two weeks are groundwork, not volume. A burst of posts in week one is the fastest way to get an account limited.

W4

Weeks 4–8 · The number starts moving

Expect the named-mention rate to stand out from run-to-run noise in weeks four to eight. We report the daily rate the whole time, including the days it does not move.

M3

Month 3 onward · Compounding

The work shifts from earning first mentions to holding them and widening the prompt set. Threads we joined in month one keep being cited. That is why month three costs the same as month one and returns more.

The alternative

What does a GEO agency cost instead?

A done-for-you Reddit or GEO agency quotes $3,000–20,000/mo at market rates. Most of that is people: a strategist, a writer, an account manager. The month ends with a slide deck. Bavior plans start at $99/mo billed monthly (or $79.17/mo billed yearly), and managed posting is quoted on top of one. The other option is doing it yourself. That costs one to three hours a week, every week, from someone who already has a job.

A cold start looks like this. Five engines name three rivals and never you. Month one goes into the baseline and the citation map, so the rate does not move yet. The first real change shows up somewhere in weeks four to eight.

Cold-start scenario
Pricing

What do Bavior GEO services cost?

Bavior GEO services are quoted per engagement. Three things drive the number. How many products you want covered. How many subreddits your category is discussed in. How many posts a month you want published. The software the service runs on is priced in public. Starter is $99 per month, or $79.17 per month billed yearly. Growth is $199 per month, or $159.17 billed yearly. Pro is $399 per month, or $319.17 billed yearly. Managed posting is added on top of a plan, not instead of it.

We quote after the free scan, not before it. A category where three engines already name you needs far less work than one where all five name your rivals. We would rather find that out before quoting. The scan is free and carries no obligation.

FAQ

Questions about Bavior GEO services

Is Bavior a GEO agency or a GEO tool?

Bavior is a software product with a managed service on top, and this page is the service. The difference from a traditional GEO agency: the work happens inside a product you can log into. You see the prompt runs, the citation map, the queue and the receipts. You do not get a slide deck once a month.

What is the difference between GEO and AEO?

GEO and AEO describe the same job with different emphasis, and Bavior treats them as one service. Generative engine optimization usually refers to assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. Answer engine optimization usually refers to answer boxes and AI Overviews. We track both in the same daily run.

What is GEO, and how is it different from SEO?

GEO, or generative engine optimization, aims at AI answers instead of blue links. SEO tries to rank a page you own. GEO tries to get your product named inside someone else's answer. So the sources that count are often pages you do not control. On most B2B SaaS topics those pages are Reddit threads. The two overlap, because a page that ranks well is more likely to be cited. Bavior runs the GEO half as a service.

How much do generative engine optimization services cost?

We quote each GEO engagement after the free scan, because the scan shows how much work the category needs. The software underneath is priced in public. Billed monthly, Starter is $99, Growth is $199 and Pro is $399; billed yearly they work out to $79.17, $159.17 and $319.17 per month. Managed posting is added on top. Done-for-you agency retainers in this space run $3,000–20,000/mo.

Does Bavior post from my Reddit account?

Not on this service. It includes managed posting, which is priced separately from a plan, so our vetted accounts publish the approved posts instead of yours. If you would rather publish from your own account, that is the self-serve product, and it costs less.

Does Bavior buy upvotes or use fake accounts?

Bavior does neither. Both are grounds for a Reddit ban, not a growth tactic. We do not buy votes. We do not run bot rings. We do not post the same text in many subreddits. We do not claim to be a customer we are not. We would rather post less and stay up.

Can I cancel a Bavior GEO engagement?

You can cancel, and there is no annual lock-in to get started. We do ask for a fair run of at least three months before you judge the result. The first two weeks are groundwork. The number rarely separates from noise before week four.

What does Bavior need from me to start?

Three things: your domain, a short note on who you sell to, and the names of three or four rivals. We build the prompt set from those. After that it is an approval queue that takes about 15 minutes a week.
